Eagle Crest Adventures offers groups more than just the experience of completing a challenge course.  The core of Eagle Crest Adventures is not in our unique team building facilities but in the quality of our programs.  All of our programs are adaptable to your students' needs and are set to Illinois State Learning Standards and SELS Goals.  In addition to our group initiatives courses we also offer programs for private & public schools with lesson plans that cover Outdoor Education & Character Development.  Our Outdoor Education Courses are substantive, age appropriate, pre-designed programs that supplement classroom activities to meet Illinois State Learning Standard (ILS).  ILS goals for each course are depicted for all grade levels:  early elementary through late high school.

Cave Studies

• Four to seven hours, facilitator-led experience.
• Combines classroom teaching and hands-on learning within a wild cave.
• Students will observe and learn about cave formations and wildlife.
• They will learn how caves are formed and the role of ground water in caves.
• They will develop a better understanding of ecosystems, and the impact pollution and vandalism can have on those systems.
• Students also learn safe practices to be used in outdoor recreation and the importance of conservation in sustaining outdoor resources.
